With Christmas looming ever nearer, now is the time to start thinking about what presents you should buy. The biggest, flashiest, shiniest toy does not always make the best gift, and sometimes, it can be those cheaper presents which offer more fun and enjoyment for the youngster.
Kids can have fun with almost anything, as a child's imagination is unlimited. How many times have you seen a really young child have more fun initially with the box that a toy came in, as opposed to the toy itself?
I often like to slip in small gifts amongst the big ones, as a way to ensure the kids have more gifts to unwrap (again, almost as much fun as the toys themselves!), but also as they can provide great enjoyment as well. One of the things I like to slip in during the festive period, is a Pack of Christmas Balloons.
My kids have had great fun, playing balloon tennis or balloon football around the living room, often forgetting that they had other gifts to unwrap later! Some of the balloons have survived a surprisingly long time, given the hazards of three kids and a dog jumping around. One even made it through until the middle of February!
Christmas is a time for giving gifts, but they don't always have to be the most expensive ones. Imagination and enjoyment is the key.
